Former Congressman Zach Wamp (R-TN), a member of the bipartisan National Council on Election Integrity, spoke with WRCB TV Chattanooga on election fraud claims.
Former U.S. Representative Zach Wamp is weighing in on President Donald Trump’s unfounded claims of election fraud after many Republican lawmakers have come out backing those allegations.
Wamp served in congress for nearly two decades. He has been very vocal on Twitter since Thursday supporting the election process, and pushing republicans to avoid claiming fraud without evidence.
His message to America: calm down and wait to see how this plays out.
That could take weeks.
“Don’t allege things that you can’t prove, especially on social media to convince a bunch of people in this country that they can’t have confidence in the process,” Wamp said.
