This election is not our first election during a national crisis. It’s not even our first election amid a global pandemic.
Our country successfully held elections during the Spanish Flu of 1918. We held presidential elections during the Great Depression and while fighting two world wars. Nothing — not even the coronavirus pandemic — will stand in the way of Americans exercising their right to vote this year and having every vote counted.
